PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the design and safety of a bench by providing a seat part with a joist and a seat board supporting the joist, and fitting assembling the seat board without using a nail or screw, with a depth direction end fitted to the joist. SOLUTION: A seat part 1 is formed out of a seat board 10, two of forward an rearward joists 13. The board 10 is constructed of a combination of several sheets of long seat board single body 11 and a short rectangular seat board single body 11 closing a remaining space that are layed with their longitudinal sides are made adjacent to each other. The joist 13 consists of a forward joist portion and a rearward joist portion. Two screw holes for mounting legs are formed at right and left end sides of the respective joists 13. A base seat surface of a large diameter hole is formed on the outer surface side of the leg mounting screw hole, and a head of a bolt 17 is burried therein. Accordingly, the purpose is attained.
