PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to recognize easily the form of a floor surface that a suction nozzle can fit by advancing and withdrawing a floor surface sliding member to the floor side of a suction nozzle substrate interlocking with the change of the angle of a connection pipe joint to a suction nozzle substrate. SOLUTION: In a suction nozzle 300, the floor surface sliding portion 304d of a joint substrate 304c is advanced to the suction opening 301a of a suction nozzle base 301 when cleaning a floor or a Tatami(rush mat) floor. In this type of the suction nozzle 300, by changing the angle of the joint substrate 304c, the floor surface sliding portion 304d can be advanced to the suction opening 301a. In the case of changing the suction nozzle 300 to a form suited to carpet cleaning, the ventilation window portion 304e of the joint substrate 304c is advanced to the suction opening 301a of the suction nozzle base 301. In this form of the suction nozzle 300, by rotating the angle of the joint substrate 304c, the floor surface sliding portion 304d is withdrawn from the suction opening 301a, and the ventilation window portion 304e can be advanced.
