PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated heat-cooking apparatus which can be uniformly heated over the whole portions thereof and does not require a large area so that the cost of the apparatus is preferable and which is most suitable for preparing a proper number of cooked foods. SOLUTION: In the heat-cooking apparatus, a cage type rotary drum 16 is horizontally, rotatably supported and a heat source 20 is provided at the center of the drum 16, while a plurality of baskets 28, each of which can receive food stuff 33 to be cooked, are suspended from the periphery of the drum 16. By rotating the drum 16, the foodstuff 33 is moved around the heat source 20 in a suspended state.
