PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair easily operable by a user seating on a seat part body. SOLUTION: A rotation stage 3 of this chair is provided with a first installation member 11 installed on a leg body 2, a second installation member 12 installed on a seat part body 4, and rotatably connected to the first installation member 11, and a stopper 22 rotatably provided on a second connection member, and having an engagement pin 24 to be engaged with an engagement part 26 formed in the first installation member. It is also provided with a spring 25 to energize the stopper 22 in such a direction that the engagement pin 24 is engaged with the engagement part 26, a connection member 28 integrally installed on the other end part of the stopper 22, a pair of operation levers of which base end parts are connected to both sides of the connection member 28, and of which tip parts are extended sideways, and bent roughly in the same direction as the stopper 22, and a release means 27 to rotate the stopper 22 in such a direction that the engagement pin 24 is disengaged from the engagement part 26 by operation of the operation levers.
