PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind-up device for building materials, by which rational linkage relationship with a feeder can be ensured when the building materials having various length are wound. SOLUTION: A winding shaft 22, on which the shutter curtain 2 of a shutter for a building as the building material is wound, is moved freely in the thickness direction of the curtain 2 by the first driving device 141 using a servomotor 128 as a driving source and moved freely in the direction parallel with the feeding direction of the curtain 2 by a feeder by the second driving device 142 using a servomotor 123 as a driving source, and the winding shaft 22 is lifted as shown in A in the case of the winding of the curtain 2 when a terminal is separated from the feeder in the case of winding, and the winding shaft 22 is also moved to the feeder side as shown in B in the case of the winding of the curtain 2 forwarded by the feeder yet.
