摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a free radical compound capable of providing a rubber composition improved in viscoelastic characteristics and abrasion resistance when compounded with a rubber by including an iminium group in the molecule and making the compound stably present in the presence of oxygen at normal temperature. SOLUTION: This compound is obtained by including an iminium group in the molecule and making the compound stably present in the presence of oxygen at normal temperature. A structure represented by the formula (R1 to R4 are each a hydrocarbon group; a counteranion may be present or absent; however, Br-, Cl-, I-, ClO4- or the like is cited as the couterion when the counteranion is present) or the like is cited as the structure of the iminium salt. A nitroxide radical, a hydrazyl radical, an aryloxy radical, a trityl radical, etc., are preferred as the stable free radical used for introducing the iminium group into the molecule and a tetramethylpiperidinyloxy radical is more preferred.
