PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the handling property in starting the use by providing a pressing portion to press and contract a liquid storage chamber on a bottom portion of an outer container when the liquid storage chamber is mounted on the outer chamber in a cartridge type discharge container in which the liquid in the liquid storage chamber mounted in the outer container is discharge from a discharge port of the discharge container. SOLUTION: A container body 1 of a cartridge type discharge container of a liquid such as hair liquid stores a soft bag body 3 inside, and the soft bag body 3 is fitted to a lower circumferential wall surface of a cylindrical member 4. A flange portion 5 is formed below the inner circumferential wall surface of the cylindrical member 4, and a plug body 6 is arranged inside a connection port 5a in the center of the flange portion 5. When in use, the cylindrical member 4 is spirally attached to a mouth member, and the plug body 6 sealing the connection port 5a is pressed down to open the plug by a pressing- down portion 11a of a connection cylindrical portion 11. When the container body 1 is gripped and the pressing member 17 is pressed, a cylinder 13 slides downward against a resilient body 12, and a valve 15 is opened to discharge the liquid from an inner hole 16 in the cylinder 13 to a nozzle member N.
