PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use space on the desk in front of a recorder effectively by eliminat ing regulation for installation due to cables, and the like, being led out from the rear of the recorder. SOLUTION: A printer 1 for recording an image on a recording sheet comprises a recording sheet path for guiding and carrying the recording sheet from one side to the other side, ink cartridges 46, 47 reciprocating in the direction substantially orthogonal to the recording sheet path, a connector being connected with an external apparatus, e.g. a host computer, in order to communicate an image data, and a power supply connector for receiving external power wherein the connector is provided on one side in the rear of the recording sheet path and the power supply connector is provided on the other side in the rear of the recording sheet path. |
