SOLUTION: Granular substances H are fed from a feeding hopper 11 and are introduced into a conveying path 10, and are advanced while they are energized forward by conveying gas jetted from a pre-gas chamber 25 to float them. After electron beams 'e' are irradiated to the granular substances H below an irradiation window 4 to sterilize them, they are brought out to the outside from a discharge hopper 12.
