<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve running performance of sheet material by coaxially providing a carrying means with a paper feed means, and giving carrying force to the sheet material in different phase from the paper feed means until the extreme end of the sheet material passes through separating means. SOLUTION: A paper feed device 12 is provided with a box-shaped cassette 28 opening the top face, a rotary shaft 34 is rotatably supported with the bearings of the side plates over the cassette 28, and a pair of semicircular paper feed rollers 14 are fixed to the rotary shaft 34. On the outside of the paper feed rollers 14 paddles 36 as carrying means are fixed, and thin wall carrying pieces 36A are formed so as to radially project from the base part of the paddle 36 at intervals of 90 degrees. The phases of the paddle 36 and the paper feed roller 14 are differed from each other, and even when the paper feed rollers 14 separate from a paper sheet P, the carrying pieces 36A of the paddles 36 abut to the paper sheet P, and hence carrying force is given to the paper sheet until the extreme and of the paper sheet P passes through corner claws 38 as separating means.</p> |
