PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor provided with a discharge valve holder capable of reducing waste of a material without causing insufficiency of strength. SOLUTION: A thickness of a discharge valve holder 31 like a plate which extends along a leaf valve 8 for preventing reverse flow opposing to a discharge port 7 for discharging compressed gas and restricts bending of the leaf valve by its contact is changed in the direction of its extension. Preferably, the thickness of the discharge valve holder 31 is gradually reduced from a fixed end 32 toward a free end 33, and a degree of the change is determined in accordance with the distribution of bending moment applied at the time of operation.
