PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator having an acceleration pump and having a simple structure, excellent liquid-tightness, and a large degree of freedom of an installation place. SOLUTION: A check valve 13 which is closed toward a restriction 12 for regulating fuel flow rate and a fixed fuel chamber 8 is provided in a main fuel passage 11 from the fixed fuel chamber 8 to a main nozzle 10, and a pump chamber 21 of an acceleration pump 19 of negative pressure diaphragm type is connected to a part between the restriction 12 and the check valve 13 in the main fuel passage 11. The liquid-tightness and a degree of freedom in an installation place are increased by trapping a diaphragm 20 of the acceleration pump 19 among a carburetor main body 1, a lower main body 27, and other constituent parts.
