PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly carry out the lubrication of a traveler and improve the spinning efficiency by composing a part for feeding a lubricant to a twister comprising a ring traveler equipped with a spindle so that the part can be brought into frictional contact with the traveler. SOLUTION: A part for feeding a lubricant is composed so that the part can be placed on a ring and brought into frictional contact with a ring traveler for guiding a yarn for a prescribed time or in a periodic manner as a lubricating device for the ring traveler of a spinning machine equipped with a twister comprising a combination of a spindle with the ring traveler. The part for feeding the lubricant is a lubricating traveler prepared by coating or attaching a flexible lubricating material wholly or partially comprising nickel or molybdenum disulfide or zinc sulfide or a combination thereof or a linear or a curved rodlike or multilayered unit and is arranged so that the part can be brought into frictional contact with the yarn or traveler at the time of passing the yarn or traveler therethrough.
