<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary handrail mountable on a passage part of a scaffolding at a construction site, openable by pushing/pulling it during the transit, and automatically returnable to the closed condition. SOLUTION: A rotary handrail comprises a support pipe 12 with tip inclined at the specified angle and opened, and a handrail member 13 rotatably inserted in the support pipe 12 having a transverse handrail part 16. The specified angle is preferably in a range of 25 deg. and 45 deg.. A base portion 18 of the opened transverse handrail part 16 slides down along the inclination of a peripheral edge 14a to the lower position 14b by the self-weight, and the transverse handrail part 16 is automatically closed to close the passage.</p> |
