PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cement formed body, by which the cement formed body, which exhibits immediately shape-keeping strength after forming, can be obtained in a short time. SOLUTION: The method for producing a cement formed body is comprised of the steps of preparing a cement slurry containing water, cement and an aggregate, then pouring the slurry into a mold to form and subjecting the obtained formed body to carbonation treatment. After controlling the water content in the formed body to be 0.075 to 0.5 expressed in terms of the weight ratio of water to the cement, the carbonation treatment is carried out at 40 to 200 deg.C and at a carbon dioxide pressure of 10 to 200 kg/cm2 for a time of 1 to 20 min. |
