THERMOPLASTIC VULCANIZED RUBBER (TPV) BY HYDROSILYLATED CROSSLINK OF ACRYL-MODIFIED BROMO XP-50 BUTYL RUBBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic vulcanized rubber having excellent mechanical characteristics, not forming foam, exhibiting excellent coloring ability and having heat aging characteristics, stability to ultraviolet light and non- hygroscopic property further improved than those of a conventional rubber by using a catalyst having extremely low concentration. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic vulcanized rubber comprises (a) a thermoplastic resin, (b) a butyl rubber copolymer of isobutylene and para-methylstyrene containing pendant-like acryl and/or alkaklyl group to recurring unit derived from para-methylstyrene through carboxyl bond to para-methyl group and crosslinked through a reaction product of carbon-carbon double bond of acryl and/or alkaklyl group with a hydrosilylated crosslinking agent.
