PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an airbag lid from being thrust up when a bag main body is inflated. SOLUTION: This airbag device 1 has an airbag module main body 11 enclosing a bag main body which presses an airbag lid 8 and inflates into a vehicle compartment, the airbag module main body 11 being disposed inside an instrument panel 3 provided with the airbag lid 8. After the airbag module main body 11 is mounted to a vehicle body side member, the instrument panel 3 is mounted on the vehicle body side from a direction different from the inflating direction of the bag main body. In this case, a thrust-up preventing mechanism 31 for preventing the airbag lid 8 from being thrust up by the pressure of the bag main body is provided between the airbag module main body 11 and the instrument panel 3. |
