FOREIGN MATTER REMOVAL MECHANISM IN VIBRATION TYPE COMPONENT FEEDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter removal mechanism for a vibration type component feeder capable of removing foreign matter from a track for transferring components. SOLUTION: A track 32 of a third track member T3 for transferring a component A by vibration in a single line and single layer state includes a vertical reference face 33 and a transfer face 34 having a slant angle for pressing the minute component A onto the reference face 33. The transfer face 34 is formed with a foreign matter discharge path 40 lengthwise extending along the reference face 33 and having a smaller width dimension than a minimum dimension of the component A, so that foreign matter falling onto the track 32 from the component A to which it adheres or foreign matter fed onto the track 32 together with the component A falls to and is discharged from the foreign matter discharge path 40.
