PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snack confectionery which has the same crispy texture as those of conventional snack confectionery without being fried, has the taste of a snack confectionery and is suitable for preventing obesity and geriatric diseases because of not having a large calorie, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This snack confectionery having a crispy texture is obtained by peeling the skins of potatoes, pelletizing the potatoes, steaming the pellets, drying the steamed pellets, swelling the dried pellets to form thin plate-like products, spraying a seasoning on the products and then drying the seasoned products. |
