PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underfloor housing device with a new structure which not only can house numerous housing boxes with a high housing density efficiently, but also can carry out the taking out and the housing works of the housing articles simply. SOLUTION: On almost all the sides n, n,... of a pentagon, housing box bodies 1 having a plain outline of a rectangular plane form with the width a little smaller than the length of the concerned one side n, not exceeding the diameter R of the circumscribed circle of the concerned N polygon, and not exceeding from three sides other than the above one side n, and made in a plain outline including an oblique side inclining 90-(360/N)} deg., or in the angleθsmaller than that, respectively from the both side parts of the side other than the above plane outline, in the direction opposing each other, at the inner side from the concerned one side n, are provided in the neighboring form on the floor under surface of a building, while the housing box bodies 1, 1,... are led by guide rails 7, 7,... directing to the center of the concerned N polygon, so as to allow to move on the center stage of the N polygon center part, and either one selected housing box body 1 is moved on the center stage 2 in order, to face to the entrance part of the floor surface of the building.
