PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well absorb high-viscosity fluid, such as soft faces, by forming the front surface sheet of an absorptive article consisting of the liquid permeable front surface sheet, a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet and a liquid holdable absorber interposed therebetween of a nonwoven fabric specified in basis weight and inter-fiber distance. SOLUTION: A throw-away diaper 1 as the absorptive article consists of the liquid permeable front surface sheet 2, the liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 3 and the liquid holdable absorber 4 interposed therebetween. In such a case, the front surface sheet 2 is formed of the nonwoven fabric having the basis weight of 20 g/m2 and the inter-fiber distance of >=0.4 mm. The thickness of the nonwoven fabric is preferably >=5 mm. Further, the spreading area at the time of liquid absorption of the nonwoven fabric is preferably >=80 cm2. This spreading area is so specified when the nonwoven fabric is placed on a slope of 10 deg. and after the pseudo soft faces consisting of yogurt of 1000 to 3000 mPa.s in viscosity are injected thereto at a speed of 5 g/s within a range of 600 cm2 in area, the nonwovwn fabric is rested for 5 minute.
