PURPOSE:To carry out proper and sure range-finding suitable for the intention of a photographer. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 2, a light receiving element 3 for the range-finding are provided. A range-finding optical system unit 1 turned from one end of a photographed screen to its other end to carry out the range-finding, is braked so as to be rated/stopped within a set range-finding limit, by a cam 9 rotated/driven by a DC motor 14, and the cam follower arm part 11 of the range-finding optical system unit 1, and further, the range-finding object limit of the range-finding optical system unit 1 (for instance, multipoint range-finding or one point range-finding), is switched and set by a switch 16. |
