PURPOSE: A duplexing method for duplexing of a link control board in a base station controller of a wireless local loop(WLL) system, is provided to connect between duplexed link control units(LCUs) or alarm LCUs(ALCUs) and to commonly use a cable for the connection, in a cable connection to implement duplexing between the LCU and the ALCU, so that board switching operations are not mutually affected regardless of any board of the duplexed LCUs or ALCUs operated normally. CONSTITUTION: A duplexing method of a link control board in a base station controller of a wireless local loop(WLL) system implementing duplexed link control units(LCUs) or alarm LCUs(ALCUs) with an E1 chip for inter-processor communication(IPC) between shelves, comprises the steps of: connecting between the duplexed LCUs(or,ALCUs) and connecting the ALCUs(or,LCUs) to a cable connecting the LCUs(or,ALCUs); deciding whether errors are generated in the LCUs in errors of respective boards, while maintaining the inter-shelves IPC through the LCUs and the ALCUs; if the LCUs are abnormal, deciding whether errors are generated in the ALCUs; if errors are generated only in the LCUs, maintaining the IPC by switching the LCUs to a standby LCU; deciding whether errors are generated in the ALCUs even when the LCUs are normal; if errors are generated only in the ALCUs, maintaining the IPC by switching the ALCUs to a standby ALCU; and if errors are generated in the LCUs and ALCUs, maintaining the IPC by switching the LCUs and ALCUs to standby LCU and ALCU.
