PURPOSE: A running safeguard apparatus of electronic controlled system for vehicle is provided to automatically generate alarm sound if a running speed of a vehicle continues above a predetermined speed while a grip force in a steering wheel drops to a predetermined pressure. CONSTITUTION: A running safeguard apparatus of electronic control system for vehicle which selectively change a vehicle running characteristic in response to various sensed information applied from the outside, the apparatus comprises a vehicle speed sensor(100) for detecting a running speed of a vehicle and outputting the detected speed data; a grip force sensor(102) mounted in a proper position of a steering wheel of a vehicle, which detects a driver's grip force on a steering wheel and then outputs the detected grip force data; an alarm drive member(108) for generating a desired alarm under a predetermined control; and a microcomputer(104) for outputting an alarm generation controlling signal for generating an alarm to the alarm drive member(108) if the speed data provided from the vehicle speed sensor(100) is greater than a previously set speed data and also the grip force data provided from the grip force sensor(102) is less than a previously set grip force data. Accordingly, the apparatus prevents any unsafe accidents caused by a sleepiness driving or a carelessness driving under a high running speed of a vehicle.
