PURPOSE: A reciprocating type hydraulic valve for brake traction control system is provided to make an interior structure of a hydraulic valve be compact, so that manufacturing cost is reduced. CONSTITUTION: A reciprocating type hydraulic valve for brake traction control system is provided with a valve member(65) made from a rubber material at a head portion of a plunger(64) contained within a valve housing(61), whereby fluid flow communication between an outlet port(120) and an inlet port(110) is directly controlled in response to a up/down movement of the plunger(64). Since the plunger(64) is compactly contained within the valve housing(61), manufacturing cost for the overall reciprocating type hydraulic valve(60) is reduced and also a built up workability is improved.
