PURPOSE: A coding method for the hangul, the alphabet of the Korean language, is provided to code consonants and vowels of the Korean alphabet without duplication by using 3 symbols "eu","i","ng" so that the coded result makes it easy for a user to be reminded of the consonants and vowels. CONSTITUTION: A coding method for the Korean alphabet includes coding the consonants and the vowels according to the shapes and the stroke order by using 3 symbols "eu ","i","ng". For example, a vowel "ya" can be expressed in £i,ng,ng| and a consonant "ch" expressed in £eu,eu, i, i|. The symbol "ng" can be expressed with the symbols "eu","i" so the consonants and the vowels can be binary- coded. The coding symbol number with respect to a vowel can be limited to a maximum 3. A double consonant can be expressed by duplicating a corresponding consonant code.
