PURPOSE: A method for preparing a 'Han-ji'(korean paper) patterned cover glass of a lighting is provided which easily form a 'Han-ji' pattern on the surface of the cover glass of lighting. And a product prepared thereby is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) heating transparent glass materials at over 1,200 deg.C to melt; (ii) covering a hollow stainless rod with molten transparent glass materials in a diameter of 50-100 millimeters and gradually cooling the molten transparent glass materials; (iii) after charging a mold with the cooled transparent glass materials, putting air into the hollow stainless rod to mold a certain-shaped cover glass of lighting; (iv) cooling down the molded cover glass of lighting at room temperature; (v) first coating the surface of the cooled cover glass of lighting by spraying an emulsion paint thereto; (vi) forming vertical pattern on the cover glass of lighting by brushing the surface of the cover glass of lighting with a brush in one longitudinal direction before the coated paint is dried; (vii) drying the coated paint of the cover glass of lighting at room temperature for 15-30 minutes; (viii) second coating the vertical pattern formed surface of the cover glass of lighting by spraying an emulsion paint thereto; (ix) forming horizontal pattern on the cover glass of lighting by brushing the surface of the cover glass of lighting with a brush in one horizontal direction; and (x) drying the coated second paint of the cover glass of lighting at room temperature for 15-30 minutes.
