PURPOSE: Reducing structure of sympathetic sound in a rear suspension X-member is provided to reduce noise by punching a through hole in an upper plate or recessing a lower portion of a lower plate upward. CONSTITUTION: A long through hole(3) is punched between slot holes(1A) in both sides of an upper plate(1) to change a low sympathetic frequency to a high frequency. The through hole(3) reduces a sympathetic sound in a closed sectional space between the upper plate(1) and a lower plate(2). In traveling, the sympathetic sound is generated in a working slot(2A) by passing air stream through the lower face of the lower plate(2). The sympathetic sound is suppressed by raising the working slot(2A) and the rear portion of an X-member(A) and separately passing the air stream through the working slot(2A). Thereby, vibration and noise are reduced and the productivity is improved.
