PURPOSE: A transconductor is provided to broaden the linear input range, to increase the output resistance and to adjust the transconductance value by a user stably. CONSTITUTION: The transconductor includes an input device(202), a programmable bias device(204), a current mirror(206) and the first and second output devices(208). The input device receives an input signal to generate the first current corresponding to the input signal. The programmable bias device provides a predetermined bias current to the input device. The current mirror generates the second mirror corresponding the mirrored version of the first current. The first and second output devices output the output signal corresponding to the second current generated by the current mirror. The input device further includes the first through forth transistors. The first and second transistors receive a positive input signal by a gate. The third and forth transistors receives a negative input signal by the gate. The drains of the first and the third transistor are coupled with each other, and the drains of the second and the forth transistor are coupled with each other.
