MAGNETIC RECORDING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A magnetic recording device is provided to be operated at a high speed during a long time by using an improved grease lubricant. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic recording disk(2) is attached to a driving motor and is rotated by a spindle motor(4) having a hub(6). A read/write head or transducer(8) is formed on a trailing end of a carrier or a slider(10). The slider(10) is combined to an actuator(12) by a rigid arm(14) and a suspension(16). The suspension(16) provides a bias force for inclining the slider(10) on a surface of the magnetic recording disk(2). The spindle motor(4) rotates the disk(2) at a uniform speed in a direction of an arrow(22). The actuator(12) moves the slider(10) radially on the surface of the disk(2) so that the read/write head accesses a different data track on the disk(2).
