IMAGE INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR HDTV AND VCR

PURPOSE: A separable video data processing system is provided to reduce manufacture cost and simplify A/V(audio/video) system by making it unnecessary to installing a circuit that processes a broadcasting signal in a TV or a VCR(video tape recorder). CONSTITUTION: A signal receiver(1) receives a digital signal or an analog signal. A signal selector/converter(2) selects a signal from the signal receiver(1) and converts it to a determined format. A digital signal demodulator(3) the digital signal(V1) of the signal selector/converter(2). An error correction decoder(4) corrects the output(V2) of the digital signal demodulator(3) after error correction. An analog signal processor(5) filters an analog signal from the output(V1) of the signal selector/converter(2) and demodulates it to the original signal. A system controller(6) outputs a control signal(CS1) for controlling the entire system operation. A video device selector(7) outputs a control signal(CS2) for selecting a video device. A scanning line selector(8) controls the scanning line according to the control signal(SC1) of the system controller(6). A video processor(9) processes the output(V2) of the scanning line selector(8) and outputs it on a video display(17).
