发明名称 METHOD FOR DRIVING CHARGE PUMP CIRCUIT
摘要 PURPOSE: A method for driving a charge pump circuit is provided to diminish voltage drops to improve step-up efficiency, by making charges or discharges flow through bypass transistors. CONSTITUTION: A charge pump circuit is composed of many voltage converting stages(11,12) and bypass transistors(TBs). A method for driving the charge pump circuit comprises the steps of: converting a voltage of an input voltage supplied to an input power line by using all the voltage converting stages, and turning off the bypass transistors when the converted voltage is outputted to the power line, then operating the voltage converting stages and gate transistors(T11,T12,T13) by predetermined orders; converting the voltage of the input voltage by using voltage converting stages except voltage converting stages located between specific voltage converting stages and the input power line, or except voltage converting stages located between the specific voltage converting stages and an output power line, then operating the voltage converting stages located between the specific voltage converting stages and the input power line, and operating voltage converting stages except gate transistors, then operating the voltage converting stages located between the specific voltage converting stages and the output power line, and operating the gate transistors according to predetermined orders.
