PURPOSE: A pretensioner for a webbing retractor is provided to prevent the sound of contacting a cylinder bottom part with a piston by a vibration. CONSTITUTION: A pretensioner for a webbing retractor comprises : a winding shaft(14) to roll a webbing(16) ; a cylinder(20) to supply fluid on decelerating suddenly ; a piston(28) to rotate a winding shaft(14) to a webbing direction by moving a bar of cylinder(20) with pressure of fluid ; a seal holding portion(32) to be formed on the bottom of a cylinder(20) in one body, and to project on circumference ; an O-ring(34) to be connected with the outside of a seal holding portion(32), to seal up between a piston(28) and an inner wall of a cylinder(20) with elasticity, and to contact with the bottom of a cylinder(20).
