METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing a system is provided to promptly diagnose a subscriber line generating a call failure in a switching system and an error in a corresponding line over a predetermined reference value, for a system operator to take measures. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosing a system comprises the steps of: detecting a call failure generated during call processing; increasing call failure number of times by subscriber lines, by receiving contents of the detected call failure; diagnosing subscriber lines having call failure number of times over a threshold value, by periodically checking accumulated call failure number of times by the subscriber lines when entering to an automatic test mode; and informing an operator of the diagnosis result.
