PURPOSE: A portable generating apparatus utilizing thermal semiconductor and a method of controlling such generation are provided to reduce smoke pollution and noise through the use of a thermal semiconductor which generates an electromotive force by a difference of temperature between a heat absorbing unit and a heat generating unit. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a heat absorbing unit having at an outer periphery thereof a plurality of cooling fins(1), a heat absorbing plate(2) arranged at an inner side surface, and a bimetal switch; a heat generating unit having a heating plate(3) filled with thermal oil, and a bimetal switch; a thermoelectric module unit disposed between the heat absorbing unit and the heat generating unit and which has a plurality of thermal semiconductors coupled to form a module; a heating unit having a burner(8) which is fed with fuel from a gas tank(6) and oxygen through an air inlet pipe(7), and heats the heating plate(3), and a bimetal switch; a charging unit having a charge one end of which is connected to the thermoelectric module unit so as to be charged with a DC electricity from the thermal semiconductor; an inverter for inverting the electricity charged at the charger into AC electricity; a control unit having a solenoid valve, ignition device, transistor, amplifier, relay, condenser, electrostatic semiconductor and diode; and a cooling fan(12) for cooling the fins(1) and which is connected to an air inlet/outlet pipes of the heating unit. |
