PURPOSE: A lapping machine for cylindrical body by using rotating roller is provided to perform high precision lapping on a surface of a cylindrical work piece extremely with easy. More particularly, the lapping machine is provided to minimize working stress with a lower cutting resistance than that in the prior lapping machine and decrease working deformation by controlling the rotational frequency of each of two rotating rollers and then allowing the surface of a work piece to be lapped by abrasion of the rollers and differences of the rotational frequency. Also, the lapping machine is provided to obtain the surface of a work piece having an approximately ideal geometric shape such as a roundness, a straightness, and the like of the work piece by allowing the work piece to automatically reciprocate leftward and rightward under a constant feeding speed. CONSTITUTION: A lapping machine for cylindrical body by using rotating roller generally comprises a rotating lapping section and a left/right feeding section. The rotating section is comprised of a rotation transmitting device(16) connected to a first drive motor(12) through a belt and two rotating rollers of which opposite ends are engaged to the rotation transmitting device(16) so as to be rotatively driven by rotating force transmitted from the first drive motor(12). The left/right feeding section is comprised of a rotating cam rotatably engaged to an axis of a second drive motor(18), a first cam follower(22), a first arm(26), a second arm(30), a left/right feeding body(50), a left/right guide bar(44), a left/right feeding limitation bar, and a pushing end for alternately pushing the opposite ends of a work piece to allow the rotating work piece to be moved leftward and rightward. |
