IMAGE FRAME REALLOCATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for rearranging an image frame is provided to convert an interlace format into a format of a macro block unit by efficiently controlling reading and writing from and to a frame memory. CONSTITUTION: A sub pixel group index which is repeatedly increased is allotted in order to generate reading and writing orders. A number of 0 through 3 is selectively used according to a period of a P picture. An index value corresponding to an order of a B picture is added to the sub pixel group index according to a period of a P picture to generate writing and reading order for a frame rearrangement. An input image data is rearranged in a frame memory corresponding to the generated writing order, the image data stored in the frame memory is read corresponding to the generated reading order and is converted into an image of a macro block unit.
