PURPOSE: A triazine compound containing a new heteroaromatic group having excellent long-term keeping quality at ordinary temperatures and photoinitiator therefrom are provided which have excellent coating property. CONSTITUTION: A triazine compound containing a new heteroaromatic group represented by the formula 1, which is excellent in long-term keeping quality at ordinary temperatures and has an excellent effect of a photoinitiator is described. In formula, R1,R2,R3 are each independently H, halogen, C1-6 alkyl, or C1-6 alkoxyl; X is X or N-R4, R4 is selected from CnH2n+1(n is an integer from 0 to 12), CnH2nCOOCmH2m+1(n,m are each independently an integer from 1 to 12), (CH2)nCOOCmH2mOClH2l+1(n,m,l are each independently an integer from 1 to 12), (CH2)nCOO-cyclo-CmH2m-1(n is an integer from 1 to 12, m is an integer from 3 to 12, and (CH2)nO(C2H4O)mClH2l+1(n,l are each independently an integer from 1 to 12, m is an integer from 0 to 4); and CnH2nOR1(n is an integer from 1 to 12, R1 is selected from phenyl, thiophenyl, furanyl, benzyl, o-cresolyl or p-cresolyl).
