PURPOSE: A feed-forward system of linear power amplifying device and method, are provided to use an average power detector and a phase detector, and to directly compare amplitude and phase of RF(Radio Frequency) signals supplied to an offset unit and a combiner, so that intermodulation distortion signal components included in amplified signals can be eliminated in real time. CONSTITUTION: A power amplifier(311) power-amplifies RF(Radio Frequency) signals to be transmitted. The first controller(321) inputs RF signals supplied to two input terminals of an offset unit(313) detecting distortion signals, and output signals of the power amplifier(311), and compare the amplitude and phase of the inputted signals. Then, the first controller(321) decides attenuation and phase control values according to compared results, to control gain and phase of the inputted RF signals. The offset unit(313) offsets outputs of the first controller(321) in outputs of the power amplifier(311), and detects distortion signals included in the amplified signals. The second controller(324) inputs the distortion signals outputted in the offset unit(313) and error-corrected distortion signals, and compares the amplitude and phase of the inputted signals. Then, the second controller(324) decides attenuation and phase control values according to compared results, to control gain and phase of the inputted distortion signals. A correction amplifier(312) amplifies the distortion signals outputted from the second controller(324). And a combiner(315) combines the correction-amplified signals with outputs of the power amplifier(311), to eliminate intermodulation distortion signals included in the power-amplified transmission signals.
