PURPOSE: The microorganisms, Helicobacter pylori strains, separated from a pig are provided, which can be effectively used in the production of oral vaccine for prevention and treatment of diseases caused by the infection of Helicobacter pylori. CONSTITUTION: The microorganisms, Helicobacter pylori strains, consisting of Helicobacter nov. 21-1(KFCC-11018), Helicobacter nov. 21-1(KFCC-11019), Helicobacter nov. 21-3(KFCC-11020) and Helicobacter nov. 21-4(KFCC-11021) are separated from pigs by the steps of: sampling the mucous tissues from the stomach of pigs that are suffering from gastritis; spreading the mucous tissues on Brucella medium containing 10% of horse serum and the modified chocolate agar medium; anaerobically incubating them at 37 deg. C in the presence of 5 to 10% of CO2 gas; isolating small and semitransparent colonies; transferring the colonies into fresh media and incubating them to isolate four Helicobacter pylori strains.
