PURPOSE: Absorption structure of refrigerant gas is provided to minimize suction loss of refrigerant gas by flowing the refrigerant gas into a cylinder smoothly. CONSTITUTION: Plural prevention protrusions(6c) are formed inside a piston suction path(F) to prevent refrigerant gas from flowing back. The plural prevention protrusions are preferably formed at an inlet of the suction path, having a slope toward an intake valve(15). When a piston(6) is moved to the bottom dead point from the top dead point, refrigerant gas flows into a cylinder(4) through the suction path via the opened intake valve. A part of the refrigerant gas flows back, not flowing into the cylinder. The plural prevention protrusions prevent the refrigerant gas from flowing back. Thereby, the refrigerant gas flows into the cylinder through the intake valve without a collision therebetween. Suction loss of refrigerant gas is reduced and suction of the refrigerant gas is smoothened.
