CASSETTE INSERT APPARATUS OF VCR

PURPOSE: A cassette soft inserting mechanism of a VCR(Video Cassette Recorder) is provided to improve reliability in action as well as to achieve a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A connecting gear(31) is connected with a worm gear(30a) assembled to a motor shaft of a motor(30) to deliver rotational force of the motor to a cam gear(32). The cam gear has a large gear(33) receiving the power from the connecting gear and a small gear(34) forming a gear unit(34a) including a discontinuous zone(34b). A rack gear(35) has a side gear unit(35a) including a discontinuous zone(35b) joined with the gear unit of the small gear, and an upper gear unit(35c). A drive arm has a gear unit coupled with the upper gear unit to be rotated by the rack gear. A cassette carrier having a cassette is moved by the drive arm. The cassette is inserted softly by forming discontinuous zones at gears or adjusting a distance between gears. Therefore, the entire structure becomes simple.
