摘要 PURPOSE: A stabling apparatus and a method of a horizontal transistor for a display device are provided to be capable of assuring the stable operation of the horizontal transistor when a transient phenomenon is occurred by the change in an operation mode of signals output from a computer system. CONSTITUTION: A color signal amplifier(20) amplifies color signals(R,G,B) output from a computer system(10). A color signal drive(30) applies the output signals of the color signal amplifier(20) to a CRT(100). A microcomputer(40) verifies an operation mode with vertical and horizontal synchronous signals(V,H) output from the computer system(10), and determines whether an interrupt signal is input from a lock detector(74) in an operation mode supported by the computer system. A vertical deflection circuit(60) processes the vertical synchronous signal output from the microcomputer(40) to apply a vertical deflection signal to a deflection coil(90), thereby deflecting the electron beam of the CRT(100). A horizontal drive circuit(70) generates a horizontal drive signal in accordance with the horizontal synchronous signal(H) output from the microcomputer. A horizontal output circuit(80) applies a horizontal deflection signal to the deflection coil(90) in accordance with the output signal of the horizontal drive circuit(70).
