METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PULL DOWN CAPTION MODE OF KOREAN CAPTION RECEIVER DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for controlling pull down caption mode of a Korean caption receiver device is provided to display whole lines of the pull down caption data. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling pull down caption mode of a Korean caption receiver device includes following steps. At the first step, a pull down caption mode control code and a reference line position specification code are received and the position of the reference line and the line pull down mode are set. At the second step, the preset line pull down mode is determined, the display line preset in the line pull down mode is compared with the position of the reference line, and it is determined whether the display line is bigger than maximum line position. At the third step, the position of the reference line is translated to a greater value when the display line is determined to be bigger than maximum line position with a step of the line pull down mode.
