PURPOSE: A discharge electrode of a plasma display panel is provided to provide a discharge structure for minimizing a resistance of an electrode at a center portion of the display panel, thereby achieving an equal luminance property. CONSTITUTION: A discharge electrode of a plasma display panel comprises two substrates coupled parallel to each other, a plurality of electrodes formed on each substrate to be respectively arranged to be orthogonal with each other on the substrates to construct a plurality of pixels, and a discharge maintaining electrode comprised of at least two or more electrodes which are formed on the one out of the two substrates. In the display panel, the discharge maintaining electrode comprises a transparent electrode(16) and a metal electrode(17) of which a width is gradually wider toward a center portion of an electrode line to reduce a resistance of the electrode. |
