PURPOSE: An apparatus for supporting multi-call communications of local area network(LAN) telephony systems is provided to maintain and extend the LAN telephony systems, by adding a call processing module reacting on a connection request for the multi-call communications or single-call communications and by adding a call controlling module for receiving information on each call and for managing the information. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for supporting multi-call communications of local area network(LAN) telephony systems, comprises a call controlling module(23), a call processing module(24), a media managing module(25), and a media processing module(25a). The call controlling module receives a call-related command from a user through a user interface, and controls call connections and call completion. The call processing module outputs a call setting signal or a call changing signal according to an output of the call controlling module. The media managing module controls voice channels supported according to calls, by the output of the call controlling module. The media processing module gathers voices of users according to the output of the call controlling module to record the voices or play back voice data received through a data network.
