A MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLICATION SERVICE BASED ON CLIENT/SERVER MODEL

PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing an application service based on a client/server are provided to define a transmission protocol of application service management information between an application service management server and an application service management client, to efficiently manage the application service. CONSTITUTION: An application service management client(100) transmits a real-time analysis request message to an application service management server(200)(S301). The application service management server(200) obtains management information from an application service management agent(400) for a predetermined period or frequency(S302,303), and responses to the application service management client(100) without accumulating the obtained data(S304). The application service management client(100) transmits a collection request message to the application service management server(200)(S305). The application service management server(200) checks whether an agent requested in the message exists or an agent is capable of transmitting the management information(S306,S307), and transmits a checked result to the application service management client(100)(S308). If an agent requested in the message exists and the agent is capable of transmitting the management information, the application service management server(200) periodically collects data from the agent for storing(S309-S312). The application service management client(100) transmits an analysis request message to the application service management server(200)(S313). The application service management server(200) analyzes the collected information, to transmit the analyzed information to the application service management client(100)(S314).
