PURPOSE: A deflator is provided to penetrate a hole in a tire and to stop travelling of a vehicle by promptly discharging air in a tire. CONSTITUTION: A tire(12) contains a tread(14), a sidewall(16) and a shoulder(18) mounted between the tread and the sidewall. A deflator(10) has a frame(20) and plural spikes(32,34,36,38). The frame includes a floor unit and two side supporters(24) fixed on a floor unit. A passage is formed to pass though the vehicle tire and the floor of the frame has an inlet unit(26). The frame is produced by welding or deforming an iron plate and is composed of engineering plastic material having a strong intensity to easily move. The vehicle presses the inlet unit while travelling on a position of a deflator for applying to the tire. A sharp second end portion of the sidewall forms a hole on wide width of the tire, and then, the sidewall of the tire is torn. Thereby, the air is discharged from the sidewall forming the hole to stop the vehicle.
