PURPOSE: A method of detecting revolution number by a steering sensor is provided to exactly detect revolution number of a handle without a standard point by forming four pinion gears on a steering gear to output signals only in multiple of 360 degree. CONSTITUTION: A method of detecting revolution number by a steering sensor contains the following steps: for adjusting gears ratio about a steering gear(10) and a first pinion gear(20)(30)(40)(50), respectively, a first step to detect revolution number through setting a first steering sensor(21) and a first hole(24) to be unified when a handle is in 0 degree; a second step to detect revolution number through setting a second steering sensor(31) and a second hole(34) to be unified when a handle is in 360 degree; a third step to detect revolution number through setting a third steering sensor (41) and a third hole (44) to be unified when a handle is in 720 degree; a fourth step to detect revolution number through setting a fourth sensor (51) and a fourth hole (54) to be unified when a handle is in 0 degree.
