PURPOSE: A method for driving a degaussing coil is provided to remove magnetization according to driving the degaussing coil by processing picture off/on when the magnetization is generated while a video reproduce device is watched. CONSTITUTION: A video reproduce device is comprised of a power supply part(20) providing power supply from a power code(10), a reset IC(30) generating a reset signal when inputting an initial power supply, a micro-computer(40) outputting a driving signal of a degaussing coil(60) during predetermined time, a transistor(Q1) driven by the degaussing coil(60) and driving a relay(50), the degaussing coil(60) driving when the relay(50) drives. The driving signal output of the degaussing coil is checked. After the degaussing coil drives, it is discriminated that predetermined time is lapsed. After the predetermined time, it is checked that picture off/on is processed. When it is checked that the picture off/on is processed, the driving signal of the degaussing coil is outputted.
